Preschool : 3 years to 6 years
Preschool classroom ratio: 10 children per teacher (10:1)

At Mariner Montessori, preschool children build independence, concentration, and confidence through hands-on learning. With ten children per teacher, our classrooms offer opportunities for individual guidance as children explore materials, practice new skills, and learn alongside others.

Our child-sized classrooms encourage children to make choices and take an active role in their learning. Montessori materials and STEAM activities in science, technology, engineering, art, and math support discovery, problem-solving, and a growing understanding of the world.

Learning That Supports Kindergarten Readiness

Our preschool curriculum supports social, emotional, and academic development together. Children practice communicating their ideas, working with others, caring for their surroundings, and completing activities with growing independence.

Hands-on materials introduce language and early mathematics through meaningful practice. Children develop skills that support writing and reading, connect quantities with number symbols, and explore addition and subtraction. Teachers guide learning according to each child’s development, helping build both understanding and confidence.
